EOS Webcam Utility Beta is a free software that turns your Canon camera in an USB-connected webcam. Scroll down to the EOS Utility 3.12.1 for macOS, then click Select.Ĭanon first released EOS Webcam Utility Beta for Windows, now a Mac OS version is also available. Below are links to the new version and its instruction manual. Version 3 is for current cameras while version 2 covers older models. Canon’s EOS Utility 3 and the older version 2 are both installed in the Mac’s Applications folder. Here it works on MacOS Sierra, the installer and the EOS Utility. Go to Software and select the version for OS X El Capitan 10.11 (currently the section for Sierra is still empty on the site). Canon software updates: here they now work under MacOS Sierra (EOS Utility 3.5.10).
